Bamboo Bouquet

Dutch Creations organised a feast of international top designers during Horti Fair 2007 in Amsterdam. With great passion they have used a selection of our top products in their magnificent designs. Aad van Uffelen made what we call the 'Bamboo Bouquet'.

Aad van Uffelen about his �Bamboo Bouquet�:
"In my mind I was making a nice gift for someone really special. It is a handtight bouquet designed on a frame of bamboo. The bamboo is held together by plastic raps, which form an important part of the colour pattern. I like the shape of the bouquet because of the asymmetric and open structure with the flowers on top of a bed of leaves. This bouquet lives, because the flowers I have used keep on flowering while on the vase. That brings a quiet effect into this creation. On top of this, I have used a lot of colours from pink to bordeaux to green. Preferrably this creation is set up in a glass vase on a spot were you are looking right at it instead of down on it."
