Ruud Hazelaar represents the Netherlands at the European Championship 2011!

After an exciting ‘Battle of the Champions’ Ruud Hazelaar (Dutch Champion 2008) won and now proceeds to the European Championship to be held in the Czech Republic this coming September.

On Thursday March 31st, Ruud created four floral assignments which saw him go beyond the qualification mark that had been set by Karin Pasman (Dutch Champion 2010).

Ruud will represent the Netherlands during the European Championship to be held in the Czech Republic.

First assignment: Make an Innovative object

Second assignment: Make a bouquet

Ruud designed the frame all by himself. This was an original design.

Assignment 3: 'Lets have dinner outside'

Create a festive floral table decoration.

The yellow Gerbera Pasta Pennoni® is quite an eye-catching flower!

Assignment 4: 'Secret assignment': Make an arrangement to be placed at Floriade 2012

Before the competition started Ruud did not know which products he was to work with. The outcome was excellent.

Ruud scoops the trophy and will now compete at the European Championship 2011!
