Ode to Women All women are beautiful…. Max van der Sluis made this Floral Ode to Women. Max: "A bouquet of this size serves very suitably as a gift during the International Women's Day! The bouquet is also just as beautiful in smaller size."
Ode to Women! Max van der Sluis created this Ode to Women at the Dutch Creations’ Demo stage at IFTF. Step by step, Max took the audience through the process of creating such a piece.
		Max first starts with the creation of a purple aluminium frame. Max: "I shaped this soft aluminium wire to the required form. The end result was this elegant yet exciting frame. With this frame I am able to place the flowers exactly where I want!"
Max: "I have removed all foliage from the flowers. The lines in the bouquet have more impact now and the colours of the flowers have become even more expressive. In this bouquet I have used the roses Cherry-O! & Heaven! and mini gerberas Suri and Petticoat in strong red, pink and purple colours. I could have added Red Naomi! roses too! But in this particular demonstration-bouquet I opted to work with less known, but equally beautiful roses!"
		Max: "The finishing is done with branches of Passion flowers. I playfully added them to give the bouquet a nice wreath shape. The bouquet now radiates an even more pleasant feeling!"
