A collection of colourful flowers arranged in a decorative pottery dish as a real eyecather.
The arrangement can be placed in for example a house, at the office or in a hotel lobby.

Christmas atmosphere

The Dutch designer Miranda Ter Voorde surprised a large audience last September with this beautiful decorated dish. At Alden Biesen, in Belgium visitors could already experience a bit of the Christmas atmosphere.

Red and Purple warm colours

Miranda is fond of Christmas; “for me it is the most beautiful celebration of the year and on December 25 it is also my birthday! Purple and red are my favourite colours, everything together ensures my most happy feeling with Christmas: Warmth!’

Colourful flowers

For the basis of this arrangement Miranda uses a grey large dish. Of course you can use every dish you wish, but the robust structure of this pottery dish and the colours create a nice contrast with the elegant and colourful flowers.

Christmas tree decoration

The dish is filled with OASIS so the flowers will have enough water and will remain beautiful during the whole Christmas period. For this piece Miranda chose red, purple and pink coloured Chrysanthemum, Roses, Gerberas and Dahlinova Hypnotica® Pink. Further different shaped Christmas tree decoration in mat and shiny design are stacked into the flowers. The orange red flowers of the Bromelia Vriesea Splenriet® give it a bit of a nonchalant appearance. As finishing touch we have put some Gloriosa, Phalaenopsis Anthura Zaragoza® and Anthurium Previa® on ¾ of the edge of the dish. The result is an impressive arrangement which offers colour and warmth for Christmas.
