Assignment 2 - Final Events Interflora World Cup

The 13th Interflora World Cup was closed on March 28, 2010 at Shanghai International Convention Center. After two days of fierce competitions, ten competitors reached the final gymkhana for the ultimate battle.

The 10 competitors from Norway (Stein Are Hansen), Switzerland (Yvonne Roth), Finland (Jouni Seppanen), United Kingdom (Neil Whittaker), France (Gil Boyard), Germany (Bjorn Kroner), Spain (Fernando Espadas Campillo), Australia (Grant Collins), Japan (Yoshimi Nakayama) and Korea (Chang Sung Won) respectively advanced to compete in the final to become the World Floral Master.

Live at the stage of the convention center of the Oriental Riverside hotel, the contestants had to create their surprise arrangements. The public of 1500 people followed all their steps.

The final is comprised of two questions, both of which are surprise items.

The second question asked for an even more innovative and challenging work, which should carry the long-standing history of China and its civilization using a black painted bucket, two bicycle wheels, a red lantern, a red Chinese-style foldable paper umbrella and all sorts of floral materials with Chinese influence, including bamboos, wickers and of course fresh flowers.
