Crown Jewel Plenty of colorful gerberas form the basis of the giant crown. Hilde Pollet: "I personally think that the Gerbera is a very strong flower that exudes character and with it, power to express lots of different emotions." |

Inspired by the Royal theme and the location, which was the top floor of the magnificent castle in Bilzen Alden Biesen, Belgium; Hilde Pollet used a selection of natural materials to create a huge crown. |
|
|
The shape of the crown is brought out by the branches which are basically the organic material Araucaria araucna. These branches are held firmly inside a small metal brace that runs low from one end, goes high in the middle and then back to the lower point of the other end. |

The gerberas form the base of the crown. In this arrangement, one thousand, well-flowered and miniature gerberas in assorted colors are used. The gerberas at each end of the arrangement are connected to a water tube. The gerbera"s in the mid section of the arrangement are firmly held using Oasis® Floral Foam. The tubes and the Oasis® Floral Foam are neatly disguised under the greenery of the ferns. |

The tips of the organic crown are adorned with little shiny pieces of jewel! |
